bread pudding recipe

A no-waste, old-fashioned bread pudding recipe that turns leftover bread heels into a golden, custardy dessert. Crispy on top, soft in the middle, with a buttery brown-sugar sauce. Mrs. Chen’s soaking-time secret and Lucas’s extra-raisin twist make it unforgettable.
