Ingredients

  • 6 cups water filtered, for steeping tea
  • 6 black tea bags English breakfast or preferred black tea
  • 2 cups mango nectar or mango juice, for natural sweetness
  • Honey to taste optional, liquid or raw
  • 1 ½ cups fresh mango slices ripe, peeled and diced
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries washed and drained
  • Mint sprigs for garnish, optional

Method

  1. Bring the water to a rolling boil, then pour it into a heat-safe pitcher.
  2. Add the tea bags to the hot water and let steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on your preferred tea strength.
  3. Remove the tea bags and stir in the mango nectar. Add honey gradually if desired, tasting for sweetness.
  4. Fold in the diced mango, reserving a few slices for garnish if desired.
  5. Place the pitcher in the refrigerator and chill for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Just before serving, stir in the raspberries. Pour the tea over ice cubes and garnish with reserved mango slices and mint sprigs if using.
