Ingredients
  

  • 1cup Coffee Strong brewed coffee - Brewed and cooled to room temperature.
  • 1-2tsp Powder nstant espresso powder -Optional for extra coffee flavor.
  • 1cup Ice Ice cubes Preferably frozen -coffee cubes to avoid watery texture.
  • 2tbsp Syrup Chocolate syrup - Choose your preferred brand.
  • 1tbsp Powder Cocoa powder Add -s richness and depth to the chocolate flavor.
  • ¼cup Milk Whole milk Can substitute with any milk of choice - almond, oat, etc..
  • ¼cup Cream Heavy cream or half-and-half -For extra richness and creaminess.
  • 1-2tbsp Sweeener Sugar or alternative - Add to taste, can use maple syrup or honey as alternatives.

Equipment

  • 1 Blender (Brewed and cooled to room temperature.)
  • 1 Ice Cube Tray (For freezing leftover coffee into coffee ice cubes. )
  • 1 Measuring cups (To measure out ingredients accurately.)
  • 1 Tall Glass or Mason Jar (To serve your frappe in. )

Method
 

  1. Brew coffee and let it cool completely. (Can refrigerate to speed up the process) Fill an ice cube tray if needed. Set out your blender and tall glass for serving.
  2. Add ice cubes (coffee ice cubes work best) to the blender. Pour in the cooled coffee. Add chocolate syrup and cocoa powder. Pour in milk and cream. Add sweetener if desired.
  3. Start blending on low speed for about 10 seconds to break up the ice. Increase to high speed and blend until smooth and thick, about 20 seconds. The texture should be milkshake-like.
  4. Pour the frappe into a tall glass. Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of extra chocolate syrup. Serve immediately while frozen.
