Ingredients

  • 4 ½ cups frozen watermelon cubes seedless, cut into small chunks and fully frozen
  • 1 ½ cups frozen strawberries hulled and frozen for thickness
  • ¾ cup vanilla Greek yogurt thick yogurt adds creaminess; dairy-free works too
  • ¾ tablespoon honey adjustable for sweetness; substitute agave if needed
  • ¾ cup cold water or unsweetened almond milk use more only if blending stalls
  • cup fresh mint leaves packed lightly; optional but refreshing

Method

  1. Add the frozen watermelon, frozen strawberries, yogurt, honey, liquid, and mint leaves to a high-powered blender.
  2. Blend on high speed until the mixture becomes completely smooth, stopping to add a splash more liquid if the smoothie seems too thick.
  3. Taste the smoothie and blend in a bit more honey if additional sweetness is desired.
  4. Pour into glasses and serve right away, garnishing with extra mint or basil if you like.
