  • 12 oz Linguine or spaghetti - Cooked 2 minutes short of al dente
  • 1 lb Large raw shrimp - Peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoon Butter -Unsalted preferred
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil - For sautéing
  • 4 cloves Garlic - Minced
  • ½ teaspoon Red pepper flakes - Optional heat
  • ½ cup White wine -Or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon juice -Freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup Heavy cream -For creamy sauce
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese - Freshly grated
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese - Shredded divided
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh parsley - Chopped
  • to taste Salt & pepper - Adjust to your liking
  • ½ cup Panko breadcrumbs - Mixed with melted butter for topping
  • 1 tablespoon Butter - Melted for breadcrumb topping
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese - Extra for topping

Method
 

  1. Boil salted water and cook pasta 2 minutes shy of al dente. Drain, saving 1 cup of pasta water. Toss with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Melt butter and olive oil in skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; cook 30 seconds until fragrant.
