Blondie Base:
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter - Melted and slightly cooled
  • 1 ½ cups Light brown sugar - Packed
  • 2 large Eggs - Room temperature
  • 2 teaspoon Pure vanilla extract - Or vanilla bean paste
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour - Spoon and level
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder -
  • ½ teaspoon Salt - Reduce if using salted butter
Cinnamon Sugar Topping:
  • ¼ cup Granulated sugar -
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon - Mix together for topping
Optional Add-ins:
  • ½ cup White chocolate chips - Optional
  • ½ cup Chopped pecans - Optional

Equipment

  • 1 9x13 inch metal baking pan (Line with parchment for easy removal)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line or grease a 9x13 baking pan.
  2. Melt butter and let it cool for 5 minutes.
