Classic hummus garnished with chickpeas, paprika, and fresh parsley in a decorative blue bowl.

hummus

This creamy homemade hummus recipe comes straight from Layla’s grandmother’s kitchen — smooth, fluffy, and full of authentic Middle Eastern flavor. Made with peeled chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and a secret trick using ice water (or aquafaba), it’s a dip that beats any store-bought version. Perfect for mezze platters, sandwiches, or healthy snacks.
